Rags Racing Ready for the 2010 Race Season

JUNE Racing News 2010

We started June off with the MDRA race, here i n Las Vegas.  Because of the economy there was a light turn out of racers.  We qualified #1 and we won our class.  The bike is still running faster in eliminations than it should.
June 26th was the 7th race in the Wicked HP Series here in Las Vegas.  I qualified 5th and was up against a 14 second quad in the first round.  It seemed like he was at half track before my lights went down.  I passed him at the 1000 ft mark and shut it down and grabbed the brake. For the 7th time this year I broke out.  The bike is running great, I am cutting good lights, I just don't know what it will run from pass to pass. Not that any of the passes are bad.
So for the rest of this year it's going to be test and tune for next year.  We are going to try a few major changes.  I still want to win rounds and races, but it is time to go into a different direction.  Insanity is doing the same thing time after time and expecting different results.

Our next race is August 22nd in Las Vegas.  I have already made the changes on the bike, and we will see what it does.  I am sure with Jay Reid, from Sinister Cycles, as my crew chief we will get done what we have set out to acomplish.
I have some new photos posted in the photo album. The first new one is a monster burn out in Fontana, CA at the Jegs Sports National. The last four pictures are from the same race, but they were taken and passed on to me by Roy Williams, a very nice gentleman/photographer who I had the pleasure of meeting and talking to during the races.  Thank you.

I also want to thank Cowboy, at Two Wheels LV.com, for the great work he does making Rags Racing well known on his website. His site is listed on our link.

I also have a few new paintings listed if you click on Art by Rags.

See you at the track in August,
Rags
